How do I clean an epoxy or polyaspartic garage floor?

For routine cleaning: sweep or blow out dust and debris, then mop with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus) and abrasive scrubbers. For oil or chemical spills: clean immediately with a degreaser and rinse thoroughly. The floor is non-porous, so spills don't penetrate — they sit on the surface.

Do I need to wax or seal the floor periodically?

A polyaspartic topcoat is self-sealing and doesn't require waxing or resealing. The floor will maintain its gloss with normal cleaning. Consult the product care instructions provided at handoff for specific guidance.

What will damage a polyaspartic floor?

Sharp impacts (dropping heavy tools) can chip the surface. Prolonged exposure to strong solvents can affect the topcoat — check the product data sheet for specific chemical resistance. Dragging heavy metal objects can scratch the surface. None of these are common in normal garage use.

How do I remove tire marks from my garage floor?

Tire marks on polyaspartic floors are surface deposits, not stains — the coating is non-porous. A degreaser and a stiff brush will remove them. For stubborn marks, consult the product care instructions provided at handoff.

What should I do if the floor gets scratched?

Minor surface scratches are normal over time and don't affect the coating's performance. If you have significant scratching or damage, contact us to discuss a topcoat refresh — we can lightly sand the surface and apply a new polyaspartic topcoat.
